POP UP STORE
Year: 2019-2020
Locations: Guangzhou and other locations
The aim of this project was to create a modular pop up store to be used in various locations (120, 90, 70 and 50m2). Flexible and easy to buid and dismantle, with plenty of storage space. We created a modular system and structure from scratch and we decorated the store in line with the DNA of the brand. The project was designed in house.
The project was very successful and used massively across various regions in China, as it was quite easy to dismantle and reuse in different locations. The perimeter of the store is a structural element that not only allows to clip different accessories to fulfill the visual merchandising needs, but also an elegant detail, as it could be flexibly decorated with either seasonal graphics printed on semitransparent canvas, or brushed acrylics or nylon straps in peach color (brand color).

FASHION MAGAZINE
Year: 2019
Locations: Shanghai and other locations
A pop up space, based on the concept of fashion magazine. The back wall structure and shelves rhythm is meant to remind a fashion magazine layout, alternating text and bold images. The collection is presented by themes and trends.
In the central area the magazine cover is a dynamic element with the mannequin stepping outside of it, leaving space for a photo area to encourage the interaction with the customers.
Bright pink colorful elements are repeated across the store, highlighting the brand identity.
SATURDAY MODE FASHION BANK
Year: 2018-2019
Locations: Beijing and other locations
Saturday Mode “Fashion Bank” is a comprehensive brand activation project.
In this original and fun pop up store customers can get to know the brand, interact with it by having fun and sharing the event on social media, therefore helping the brand doing publicity. In order to make the project more interesting we included 8 specific spots in which customers could take photos and share on social media. Also, during the whole event, customers could enjoy other activities, like being “on camera” and appear in the monitor in the shop TV displays and participate to direct streaming activities (transforming the store into a 直播间) carried out in the fashion bank vault.
The money machine was also another interesting element with double function: it could be used as simple display with a mannequin inside or customers could play and try to grab discount coupons to be used in all Saturday Mode stores.
The project was very successful and received media coverage. It was later repeated in other cities in China, including Shanghai and Nanjing.
For this project we got inspiration from architectural and interior design elements of old fashioned banks, and we mixed them with contemporary/fun ones using the latest trendy materials (acrylics / marbles / neons).

ST&SAT TIME TRAVEL
Year: 2018
Locations: Shenyang, Guangzhou
This interactive pop up store was designed and built for a brand activation event of the shoe brand ST&SAT. The pop up store was used as an experience center for customers to understand the brand and interact with it, with the possibility to make purchases. Customers could see and touch the products, while being immersed in a multisensory environment, but this time, instead of using the traditional sales channel (offline), the sales focus shifted to online: customers could scan the QR code related to the product and purchase online. Livestreaming activities with Chinese influencers were also carried out in this store. Customers could as well play games and attend catwalk shows, inspired to the different themes of the concept.
The “time travel” theme was inspired by the shoe collection, which was designed using some fashion elements typical of different eras.
In this fun and entertaining space, the customers can travel through time while moving within the different rooms of the pop up store. We start from the first room, which is inspired by the 60s style of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, we move then to the pop music frenzy of the 80s and Madonna, to the 90s inspired by the famous Barbie doll, the post 00s of the selfie mania and millennial pink, to the futuristic psychedelic 2045.
